Paving & cobble stones

Stone cobbles are hand chiseled natural stones which are environmentally sound, recyclable, non-slip, everlasting and require almost no maintenance. The size of cobbles lie between a boulder and a pebble. They can be put to innumerable uses and are generally used for pavements, outhouses and pool sides.

Types of Stones Used as Cobbles

· Sandstone Cobbles: The cobbles made of sandstone are available in shades of maroon, pink, green, yellow and gray. Because of their natural beauty and architectural properties they are widely used for decorative purposes.

· Limestone Cobbles: The cobbles made of limestones are available in various colors like black-dark gray, olive blue, olive-brown, olive-rust etc. They have high strength and are non slippery. They are hardly affected by any weather extremes and look beautiful.

· Granite Cobbles: The cobbles made of granite are in shades of black, red, pink, maroon, etc.

· Slate Cobbles: Cobbles made of slate are slip resistance, easy to clean and long lasting. The most common shades used as cobbles are kund peacock, kund rustic, jack black, etc.

Cobbles are widely used for decorative purposes due to its natural beauty. They can be mixed with flagstones and stepping stones as border detail or divisions between pave areas for a great decorative effect.

Cobble Construction

There are two main types of cobble construction that are used today - cobbles as a pavement that will be trafficked and cobbles as a deterrent surface. The main difference between the two is the spacing and depth of embedding of the cobbles.

Size and color
Sandstone cobbles come in a variety of colors such as ash grey, burnt red, beige, autumn (mixed) pink, maroon, pink, green, yellow, chocolate etc. Together with different colors, sandstone cobbles are available in varied sizes such as 10x10x8cm, 20x10x8cm, 14x14x6cm, 14x14x8cm, 14x20x8cm. Sandstone cobbles usually carry an all-side natural surface finish.
